http://www.FTV.com/videos MILAN – The models are getting ready backstage at the Just Cavalli show with dark blue liner underneath the eyes and gold shimmer on the lids. It’s crowded backstage because so many models are participating in the show. Sixteen-year old Maria Milnik says hello to FashionTV. She’s wearing a nice short dress for the runway and her high heels are comfortable so she’s not nervous. “The girl for today is kind of like a groupie. You’ll imagine her backstage at a concert,”says makeup artist Hanna Murray. “It’s lived in but it’s also polished.” She uses a metallic navy liner under the eye and a gold sheen. “She has a beautiful sexy look, but her hair is a few days old,” says Malcolm Edwards, describing the models’ hairstyles for the Spring/Summer 2012 collection at Milan Fashion Week. It’s bohemian and sexy. “It’s the first time we’ve worked with Roberto,” says Diesel designer Renzo Rosso, who’s company Staff International is producing the line starting with the Spring/Summer 2012 line. They have a 10-year licensing agreement. Rosso and Cavalli are also old friends. “The Cavalli world is truly fascinating,” he says. Melissa Satta, a showgirl, also makes an appearance in a Just Cavalli color block number with leopard print underneath. Other big names in the front row include Belen Rodriguez, an Argentinian showgirl who works in Italy.
