Companies can argue against unions on TV or newspapers that's their free speech but brainwashing workers is NOT okay! There's a huge difference between Jeff Bezos saying "unions suck" on Twitter versus forcing employees to watch propaganda every single day.
Let the workers have their pro and anti union debates with each other in the breakroom without company interference.

Union dues aren't that expensive when a employee is making their job more comfortable for themselves. Especially in these work at will states

Lindsey is the reason south Carolina is backwards. The people have a slavery mentality attitude. He need to go.

Should taxpayer dollars go to those who abuse the taxpayers? Obviously no.

    March 31, 2024 at 10:34 pm

The party owned by unions is trying to pass a bill that forces companies to vote on unions where all workers must pay union dues wether they want a union or not.

Unions will get rich off the workers as well. Go figure.

    March 31, 2024 at 10:34 pm

The establishment class are all owned major corporations, they dictate the policy, they own the lobbyists, the own the senators and congressmen on BOTH sides. It's actually pathetic to see the whole left vs right as if one side is better and clean or something, it only makes those in the fight look like ignorant idiots really. Big corporations some tripled and quadrupled their wealth during the lockdowns as big corporations were open and small businesses who offered the same services were closed and this is because they own the puppets me vote in. Democrat Republican it makes no difference.

American people seem to not know or understand that TAXES are money from their pocket. We elect people to do the right thing with that money. Improve roads, water, law enforcement, lighting on roads, etc….Yet the government act as if it's their money to spend with their family and friends with a ROI. Wake up people!!!

  15. @truth4727

    March 31, 2024 at 10:34 pm

Big companies like Amazon, construction, teachers, etc. should have the option to join or not join the union. It shouldn't be one or the other. If you don't join the union you get higher pay and if you do join you get lower pay and more protection because of the due's you pay. Let the workers decide if they join or not join the union from the very beginning. Please hold amazon accountable for union busting and brain washing that's plan wrong.

Here's a better idea, mandate that after serving 2 terms in the Senate, senators can still be eligible to run for reelection, but they will no longer collect a paycheck or be eligible for benefits.

  19. @markjohnston9321

    March 31, 2024 at 10:34 pm

I thought democracy was about a consensus of the majority to reach a concluded and particular outcome. Establishing a union is democracy enacted. I'm not sure why Lindsey has a problem with that.

  20. @markjohnston9321

    March 31, 2024 at 10:34 pm

People that don't like the idea of Unions are either ignorant, misinformed, or clearly out of touch with the idea of working for a decent livelihood throughout their working career with the knowledge that some day retirement and an enjoyable end of life is viable and deserved. Independent contractors do well but not all people can afford it just ask the truckers that bring the goods we use nation wide daily. Union Representation is needed now more than ever.

Dear Mr Sanders – while you make very good points towards Amaon please note the biggest corporate greed in America is by a corporation called Government Inc. – you and your friends keep giving yourselves infinite wage increases, you make 5-7 times the average national wages and you have inside information investment exemptions (off which Mrs. Pelosi is worth 300 Million $)
You are a thief (admittedly the smallest and the most honest of them) so do us all a favor – all of you take a pay cut now !

I'm against unions myself. First the union dues just go to Democrats. That alone makes me hate them. Second I will lmao when the Amazon employees actually form a union and bezos just makes a bunch of robots to do the same job. And guess what. People will say "boycott amazon " while secretly buying products from them left n right. Because bottom line , when it comes to saving money in your wallet. Nobody gives a crap about workers rights. If they did people would by so much stuff thats made in China. This is all noise. And If u look deep down at yourself you know I'm right. Even if u don't admit it

Listen im in a union. If there was no union for my job we all would only be making minimum wage. Yes you pay a fee for membership but its crumbs compared the benefits you acquire through contract negotiation. Trust me Sen. Graham and others that speak against union are trying to scare everyone from not joining. You better believe there's major benefits to joining a union. Better health benefits, 401k, retirement pension benefits, job security, bonus…etc, all can be negotiated at the table on your behalf. Amazon is a multi billion dollar industry and there not hurting and pay millions toward scare tactics.

This is the problem with too many powerful companies. This is why we need some kind of regulation to protect us workers. Maybe it's time to bring back the unions for all company's as a tool. The data shows working for a union, you will make more money. I don't like regulations or unions but if you don't continue regulate you only have two choices. No regulations and these companies will continue to take advantage or regulate to some extent to raise the bar and better the situation a certain percentage. I've been working for a company for over 27 years. Remember that "'Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely" Also just think how much a union will cost Amazon… I can also tell you is that you don't want to be working for a company that will be unionized, its very painful. I use to work for a company when the UAW tried to come in. They were rejected by vote. I do agree with Mr. Braun comments.

Reward law breakers, and imprison those who tell the Truth. We are just like China no difference, we kill brown people without remorse and start illegal wars all around the 🌎 plus we haven't won a war since WW2.
